FEATURED PROJECT ... LYNX CENTRAL BUS TERMINAL / DOWNTOWN ORLANDO, FLORIDA
SmartWatch provided and installed the audio paging / music system for the new Lynx facility building interior and terminal exterior areas. The system was specified and designed by TLC Engineering of Orlando and utilizes primarily Soundtube speakers and Bogen processing and amplifier components. Bus loading and terminal areas have speakers suspended approximately 40' above and on columns around the terminal & loading areas.
Officially known as the Central Florida Regional Transportation Authority (CFRTA), LYNX will complete the relocation of their offices to the new site located right off of Interstate 4 on the corner of Livingston Street and Amelia Avenue. Their renovation includes a six-story office building and a very large spaceframe canopy to cover the bus loading zones.
The all aluminum space frame canopy system was designed utilizing graceful undulating curves. The canopies will be clad with approximately 85,000 square feet of corrugated decking creating signature waves against the Orlando Skyline.
